n) the rise of the "terahertz wand" which somebody is apparently SELLING as a therapeutic device. It is one of the most common things that comes up when I search twitter for "terahertz".
I know, I know, snake oil salesmen have been around since forever, but this is a little close to home, intellectually speaking.

Point taken.
But of course, not searching doesn't mean that the nastiness doesn't exist. Only that I'm not reminded of its existence. Maybe it is better to be informed? Well, at least sometimes.
@OpticsMan Yeah, I'm just being a bit snarky. And I *do* think we have a responsibility to provide true information to counter disinformation to the extent we are able, which may entail hanging out in less-desirable places sometimes
