1225: This paper uses over 4 billion LHC lead-lead collisions to study the shape of the quark-gluon plasma using quantum-correlations, called Bose-Einstein correlations, between two particles in the collision. The conclusion: the shape of the is not as simple as we figured. Lévy functions describe the data (yay!), and we measure those accurately so these can be used to model/predict other collisions in the future!
