Thinking positively: if no one else shows up to the #WorldCup, then maybe the #US will make it to elimination.
It's more than time countries around the world told the Olympic Committee they will not send a athlete to the USA to compete. Same thing to FIFA. A sensible move given any one of the competitors could end up anywhere except where they were supposed to be going. It's downright too dangerous.
This is a declaration of obviousness. It still needs official announcement.

No one is going to the United States.
No one would have attended.
As a soccer fan I hate how this upcoming world cup will be politicized. I hate how the swamp thing will take credit if we do well and I hate that the players are caught in a no-win situation. And if I'm being honest I really can't be bothered to offer my full-throated support anymore. This is like the 1936 Olympics. It's going to be the MAGA world cup.
