With Mastodon we reached a milestone for open networks and now we want to bring you an European alternative to Instagram.
The Fediverse's replacement for Instagram is Pixelfed. Starting next Friday our Pixelfed instance can be used by image enthusiasts to connect with the rest of the Fediverse.

Nachdem wir mit Mastodon einen wichtigen Meilenstein für freie und offene Netze erreicht haben wollen wir in diesem Jahr auch eine europäische Alternative für Instagram aufbauen. Das Fediverse bietet dafür die Software Pixelfed, mit unserer Instanz instapix.org können sich ab nächster Woche alle besser vernetzen denen Bildsprache lieber ist. Das tolle ist - im Fediverse bleiben wir über unterschiedliche Tools in Kontakt.
